Social Security scheme for Unorganized Worker Launched

Patna : State government launched the Unorganized sector Workers and Artisan Social Security Scheme at a function organized on 29th March to Mark Bihar Centenary. CM Nitish Kumar said people, aged between 18 and 65 years working in unorganized sectors, will be covered under this scheme.
He said the dependents of a worker who dies in an accident will be given  Rs.1 lakh and Rs. 75,000 in case of injury leading to disability. Rs. 30,000 will be given in case of natural death.He also announced that the children of those working  in 88 types of unorganized sector will be given  a monthly stipend of Rs. 1,200 to study in industrial training institutes (ITI ) or Polytechnics.
Earlier, CM said , the state had a policy to provide ex-gratia in case of accidental death of  a non-resident Bihari workers in unorganized sectors.But, now even injured workers would get help. Bihar  is the only state which is talking care of its non-resident workers, he said.
CM recalled that in 2007 in Punjab, a Policy of work permit for non-resident labourers had been introduced which had been opposed by workers from Bihar and UP. Acting on the reports, he spoke to the then Punjab CM Captain Amrendra Singh and sent a team of legislators and officials there. The government withdrew the policy under pressure, he addeed.
Deputy CM sushil Kumar Modi said there were a lot of Agencies talking care of the workers in organization sector but nobody is bothered for the large army of workers in unorganized sectors. Lobour resources minister Janardan  Singh Sigriwal said the scheme would benefit about 50,000 labourers engaged in construction work,he added.
The dignitaries as well as the participants lit candles in  the hall for a few moments and chanted the song, "LE MASAL CHAL PARE HAI LOG MERE GAON KE "(Villagers have started moving with torchlight in their hands ). Principal secretary of labour department Vyas  ji and labour leader R N Thakur also spoke on the occasion.

STATE AWARD FOR SLAIN MP COP....NItish Regrets Nod to IPS Officer's Cadre Transfer.

Patna: Chief Minister Nitish kumar repents why he allowed IPS officer Narendra kumar's cadre transfer from Bihar to Madhya Pradesh where he lost his life in fighting criminals.

Narendra Kumar had done commendable job as ASP purnia for which he was posthumously awarded at a function organized by the crime investigation department (CID ) of Bihar Police on 28th March 2012.

"Had I refused Narendra's request for cadre transfer, probably his life would have been saved," the chief minister adding that he would cautious in attending such request of IPS officers."I feel very sad when someone asks for cadre tranfer," he added.

The chief Minister said : the government would institute an award in Narendra
Altogether be 308 police personnel and 109 civilians,who helped police burst cases of heinous crime, were also honored with citation and cash award on the occasion.
THE CID used to organize such award function at sonepur every year. But the CM directed the
ADG (CID ) A S Nimbran to organize it in the state capital,saying that such function were important for police personnel and should be organized with much fanfare.
Apart from the state police personnel,the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF ) jawans and officers were also awarded.
CM also stressed on the need of organization "Police Day " for which he asked the Director general of Police (DGP ) to decide the date.
Nitish said a large number of constables and sub-inspectors were required before segregating law and order duties and investigation of cases,adding that process should be expedited.

Bihar- born Activist to get Award in Oxford

Patna: Bihar-born development activist Arbind Singh will be conferred with skoll Foundation social entrepreneurship award at oxford on 22 March 2012 Nearly 1000 social entrepreneurs,accademics and key government officials,including Bihar's principal secretary,education,Anjani Kumar Singh,have been invited by the foundation to attend the award ceromony.
Singh is the national coordinator of National Association of  street Vendors of India (NASVI ), an all india platform of more than 615 street vender organizations and community - based groups across 23 states in the country, A portion of his fellowship grant would be utilized in the state for the empowerment of under privileged this year,the skoll Foundation is awarding four leading development activists, Beside Singh, who is the only Indian,the other three are Tony Meloto (Philippines ) ,Debbie Aung Din (Myanamar )and Tim Hanstd (Seatttle,USA ). 
Singh, an executive director  of Nidan, an organization facilitating empowerment of the poor and marginalized sections through appropriate community- based and pro-poor participating intervention in Bihar,Jharkhand,Delhi, Rajasthan and Haryana.Singh, also an Ashoka Fellow (2007) and  schwab Social Entrepreneur (2008),is also the recipient of first Bihar Innovation Forum Award.
Born in Muzaffarpur in 1966, Singh spent his early years in Katihar. He studied at B N college in Patna University before moving to Hindu college, Delhi University. Armed with degrees in sociology and  law from
D U , he returned to Bihar and worked with various organization.
The Skoll award provides a three-year core operating support grant for recipients to extend their already impressive reach.
When asked the award and how the organization would use the support grant,Singh told TOI over phone from Delhi,"It's  just a timely recognition  of the efforts that we are putting in. Reaching the unreached in Bihar and other new states, galvanizing the disadvantaged  and  vulnerable communities and facilitating their empowerment  through proper organizing and appropriate social business models would be our priorities."

Biharis in Canada Celebrrate BIHAR Diwas

Patna : Non-Resident Biharis ( NRBs) in Canada recently gathered at Milan Banquet hall in Mississauga, a suburb of Toronto,Ontario,to celebrate Bihar Diwas,The annual Holi Milan Programme coincided with this celebration, according to report reaching the Bihar Foundation office here. This was done to infuse a mood of festivity in traditional Bihari style.
The programme started with lighting of lamp by Dr.Laxman Das and Saraswati Das. This was followed by welcome address by Rajesh Jha,Chairman, Bihar Foundation Canada chapter,informing the audience about the significance of Bihar Diwas and the work Foundation was doing .He also spoke on how everyone in Canada can participate in this common forum to connect, promote and do business with Bihar.

Speaking on the occasion,Jha said," we decided to celebrate Bihar centenary with Holi,Because we apply gulal to each other as ultimate expression of joy and combining both is Bihari way to express the joy and enthusiasm of NRBs over 100 years of the state formation." Das thanked Bihar Foundation for encouraging NRBs to celebrate the foundation day of Bihar. "This surely gives us a sense of belonging  to the land where we were born," he aded.
A cultural programme was presented by children of Bihari diaspora.A film on  Bihar was also liked by everyone.Finally, it was time for mouth watering continental dishes along with Bihari delicacies like Pua, dahi bara, litti - chokha and thekua.

Experts Back Anna - Type Stir

Muzaffarpur (Patna) :  Their divergent views on the current India Political system not with standing , all the eminent political science experts of  the country participating at a  seminar on 26th march 2012,advocated the need of launching an Anna Hazare type movement on a large scale in the country to check corruption and criminalization of Politics.
Prof. Pushpes Pant from Jawahar lal Nehru University ( JNU ),Prof. Mahendra Prasad Singh From institute of social Sciences, New Delhi,Prakashmani Tripathy from D  D University, Gorkhpur,N K Jha from Pondicherry University, and  Former vice chancellor Gopal Prasad Singh called upon the Judiciary, Election Commission of India ( ECI ) and the media to save the Indian democracy from being distorted. They felt the need for a participatory democracy by striking a balance between a direct and representative democracy. Expert remarked that it is true it is only the Parliament which can enact laws. But at the same time, the voice of the public must be carefully heard to cleanse the administration and establish a rule of law.Pant said if the popular demands would have been heard , the Naxalites would not have been forced to go underground to get their demands  fulfilled by force.
So far as the right to recall of public representatives, as demanded earlier by Jayaprakash Narayan and  Now by Hazare,was concerned,it was practically not feasible in a vast country like India having more than 120 crore population . Referendum or direct democracy was possible only in small countries like Switzerland, said Mahendra Prasad Singh. The Supreme Court has given enough power to the EC.The only hope now rest with the Supreme Court,he added. Tripathy said it was an irony that out of 120 crore population,Only 17 crore people decide the fate of MPs. He said government running by a group of parties cannot be expected to deliver positive results,.He, however,expressed satisfaction that Hazare has unleashed a new movement in yhe country.

State partners with Microsoft on "school of Future"

Patna: As the state celebrated centenary, the state education department on Thursday announced its partnership with Microsoft Corporation India (Pvt) Ltd to implement a pilot programme  for show casing the Model school of the future.
The initiative,which will commence in April this year through Microsoft's education partner Educomp, will implement programmes to augment the scope of digital literacy and optimize the use of computers by students and teachers. Christened "Window to the World",the project aims to reach out to students,teachers and education stakeholders for building capacity on limited budgets.Its key aspect include creating tech-enabled class rooms in state schools which will scale up participation of students.
The programme also aims to  provide computer aided learning opportunities  for classes 8th to 12th  in government schools and introduce innovative platforms which will connect students and teachers from across the world.
The initiative will cover Ghanshyam Girl High School,Patna;  Taramuni bhagwan shsa school,Bhojpur,Ramanand Sharma Memorial project school,Jehanabad; Government-supported Girl"s High school,Vaishali.
State information and public relations department principal secretary and Bihar Education project Council's state project director Rajesh Bhushan said the aim of the initiative was to reach out students and other stakeholders to build capacity within the state on a limited budget,Microsoft India's director (education) Irina Ghose said education is what would help the youth realize India's potential.

Bihar ko Special status ka darja Dekar kendra kare eensaf.

Patna : The Center's  Inter-Ministerial Group constituted to study Bihar's demand for special category state status held its first meeting with Bihar's officials on Monday 26th march 2012 in New Delhi.Bihar's case was presented by chief secretary Navin kumar, principal  secretary, planning and  development ,Vijay Prakash, finance commissioner Rameshwar Singh and CM Nitish Kumar's secretary Chanchal Kumar.
Commenting on the meeting ,CM Nitish Kumar said here the meeting was held in a positive atmosphere. "Our officials put up the case forcefully and now it is up to the Center to take a decision," he said and added that the team of officials was satisfied with talks.
The Inter-Ministerial Group is headed by Planning Commission's member-secretary  Sudha Pilli,who had called the meeting. The group was constituted at PrimMinister Manmohan Singh's behest in September last following  the pressure mounted by Bihar CM. A  JD (U) delegation had called on the PM with about 1.25 crore signatures in favour of special category status to the state.

Prakash Jha's documentary on BIHAR Released

Patna : A 43-minute documentary,'Sunehare Dastaan.....Bihar ki Bhoomi Se,' was released .
The Short film,produced by Prakash Jha,provides a glimpse of Bihar's glorious history,heritage and culture.
The film was shot in Bihar during last winter; It captures Mahatma Gandhi's satyagraha,Candragupta's empire,Ashoka's dhamma policy, Sher-shah Suri's  administration,Buddhist Philosophy,Jain teaching Sufi shrines,Bhagalpur silk handloom weavers, Madhubani painters and other glorious aspects of Bihar.
"The documentary will help people know Bihar better.If  we are not aware of our past, we can not make our present better.And, a poor present always lead to a dark future," said state information and public relations ministers Brishen Patel.Several minister and bureaucrats watched the film.
The documentary is written and directed by Alankrita Shrivastava. Jha has produced the documentary as a token of gift to Bihar government to mark Bihar Diwas.
Bihar's education department principal secretary Anjani Kumar Singh announced: " The documentary will be screened at all schools.We have plans to convey its massage ( screening of the documentary ) to panchayat level as well.

"Orthopedic treatment fairly Advanced in BIHAR "

 Patna : Leading orthopedic surgeons from different parts of the country and the world discussed hear on Saturday, 24th March  the latest technologies being used in operation and special care of trauma patients.
They were participating in the three day current concept in trauma (CCT) conference organized by Trauma Society of India.(TSI)
The participating surgeons shared their experience in treatment and operation of trauma patients,including those injured in accidents. They discussed the latest advances in locking plates and nails for fixing bones have become brittle.
Dr.Jeffery Reid of Eden burgh Royal Hospital,UK,told TOI that prevention of road accidents, pre- hospital care of patients and rushing them quickly to the trauma center were the pre-requisites for treating trauma cases.He said:the latest designs of locking plates,nails and other equipments have brought revolution in trauma care methods.He said in the UK, patients are taken from the accident site to a trauma center in 20 minutes.
Dr. kuku -sun Khong from National University Health System,Singapore,said internet had brought evolution in the treatment of trauma cases as the doctors across the world could contact super specialists working at the best trauma centres.
He said  that a portable X-Ray machine,named Image Intensifier TV,was now being widely used by the orthopedic surgeons as its instant image makes it easier for doctors to set bones.
Dr.D D Tanna of Jaslok Hospital and Breach Candy Hospital,Mumbai,said the orthopedic treatment was fairly advanced  in Bihar as doctors from the state frequently visited Mumbai to learn the latest techniques.
He said the government should set up modern trauma centers with latest equipments,plastic surgery and specialists on 24-hour job.

Bihar CM insists on central university at Motihari.

Patna : Bihar CM Nitish Kumar has reiterated his demand for setting up a central university at Motihari,the headquarters of East Champaran.
In a letter to the Union HRD minister Kapil Simbal recently,CM wrote "Most of the universities in the world are situated in remote areas,Such universites are altogether a different world.

He said the state government was committed  to provide free of cost a suitable piece of land for setting up the central university at Motihari .
In a three page letter to Simbal, the chief minister urged him to seriously consider his demand and requested him not to insist on places like Patna,Bihata or Bodh Gaya for that purpose.
He said Motihari is a strategically located town,hardly 40 Km away from the Nepal Border.
It may be noted that the Center has accused the state government of not cooperating with it in the matter.

Money Can't produce IITians: DGP (patna)

Patna : state DGP Abhayanand announced that 91 students from 6 centers (Kanpur,Delhi, Guwahati,jorhat,Patna and Gaya ) of Abhyanand Super 30 would apper at the IIT-JEE 2010 examination on April 8.
Talking about the modus operandi to select candidate for his Super 30,He said the center social Responsibility and Leadership (CSRL ) executives 91 remote district in UP,Assam, Maharashtra, and Delhi national capital region (NCR ) to identify students who had the potential and talent but no money to join the mainstream higher education.
"jawahar navodaya vidyalayas are our main hunting grouds.I personally screen candidates before finally giving admission to our centres,"said Abhayanand.
Asked about the fund for his projects,the DGP said public sector undertakings,Like Gail,Power Grid corporation of india,IGL and Oil India have been sponsoring the centres at Kanpur,Delhi,Guwahati and Jorhat,respectively. Some private sector companies are also keen to sponsor projects in their respective economic zones.
"In Gaya ,a dedicated team of  professionals are teaching the students without charging any fee.I also interact with students of outside Bihar through  Videoconferencing", Abhayanand said.
The DGP has a piece of advice for the parents.
"Money cannot produce IITians.Focused guidance and motivation to hone the potential of a student can.Parents should screen their wards first before sending them to a coaching institute for IIT.That would save them from frustration," he said.

Cop Websit Launched...

PATNA: - Patna police launched its website on 22th March 2012 on the occasion of Bihar centenary celebrations.
"Our initiative will further boost the people-friendly image of police,It will help us in bringing down the crime rate in the city."Patna SSP Alok kumar said.
The website will work as a platform for people to establish a direct link with the police. It will have contact details and email IDs of all important police officers in the district ,
Patna police will also up-load  the list of Wanted criminals, sketches of suspects in any crime,details about the District police's initiatives and programmes, among other things important for public awareness.
"We will also up-load details of our achievement which will keep our morale high,"the SSP told TOI.The website will become fully functional soon. It will also function as a grivance cell for people seeking speedy solution to their law & order related problems,as he said.

"Patna police have taken around 20 initiative during the past one year to check crime.More than 18000 criminals have been arrests in the last one year,resulting in decline in the incidents of major crime in the district,"

Now, armed with website, the patna police hope to make people awere about their initiatives like patna women helpline,patna police women counseling cell,prohibition human trafficking and rehabilitation unit, school safety progrmme of preparing sketches of  suspected chain snatchers.

The records of  Patna police in the last five years show a decline in number of crimes in the district.

IN 2007, Total 317 murder cases were registered in the state capital.The figure decline to 314 in 2009,304 in 2010,and 248 in 2011.there were 62 reported cases of  dacoity in 2007 which declined to 54 in 2009 and 44 in  2011.
A similar trend has been witnessed in terms of registered cases of rape in the last five years,In 2007, it was 74,which came down to 50 cases in 2010 and 41 in 2011.
"Now that we have lunched our own website,we will try to further bring down the crime rate,"said the SSP.

पटना के राजधानी बनाने पर लन्दन में हंगामा !

दिल्ली को जब भारत और पटना को बिहार की राजधानी बनाने का फैसला हुआ,तो उस समय लन्दन में दिलचस्प सवाल-जबाब का दौर शुरू हो गया था ! सवाल राजधानी से जमीन की कीमत बदने और उसके अधिग्रहण से जुडा हुआ था ! कलकत्ता  से भारत की राजधानी के स्थानांतर और पटना में राजधानी के निर्माण को लेकर लन्दन में जमीन की कीमतों को लेकर चिंता व्यक्त की जा रही थी !एक सौ साल पहले कभी पटना में ट्राम चलने की बात हुई थी और आज मेट्रो और मोनो रेल की बात हो रही है !
दिल्ली, भारत और ,पटना को बिहार की राजधानी बनाने  जाने के फैसले  के बाद हाउस ऑफ़ कॉमंस में संसद वेडौद ने २० फरवरी १९१२ को सरकार से जानना चाह था की दिल्ली को भारत की और पटना को बिहार की राजधानी बनाने से दोनों स्थानों पर जमीन की कीमतों में भरी उछाल होगी ,तो इसके लिए सरकार कौन सा कदम उठाने जा रही है !
न्यूमैन  ने पूछा की दिल्ली को राजधानी बनाये जाने के फैसले के पहले सरकार ने कोइ ऐसा कदम उठाया है, की सरकारी कार्यालय की स्थापना के लिए जमीन उचित मूल्य पर उपलब्ध हो और साथ ही साथ अंग्रेजो की आबादी के लिए पर्याप्त जगह उपलब्ध हो सके !
  मंतायेग्यु  ने बताया था की दिल्ली और पटना को राजधानी बनाने की घोषना के तुरंत  बाद भारतीय भूमि अधिग्रहण अधिनियम ज़ारी किया गया !उन्होंने कहा था की दिल्ली में सरकार को १८० वर्ग मिल स्थान की जरुरत होगी, इसी तरह पटना में भी  जमीन  की जरुरत पर करवाए की जा रही है !
जमीन से जुड़े इस सवाल के ४ माह के बाद १३ जून को हाउस ऑफ़ कॉमंस में जेडी रिश ने पूछा ; की उड़ीसा और बिहार की राजधानी पटना को बनाये जाने पर कितना खर्च आएगा ? मंतैगयु ने कहा था ;की ३.३३ लाख से ४ लाख पौंड तक की संभावना है, बाद में तत्कालीन भारत सरकार से बिहार सरकार को राजधानी के लिए १,२२ करोड़ रूपये मिले !
 २८ जनवरी १९१६ को सरकार ने पटना मुनिस्पैलत्टी का नाम बदल कर पटना सिटी मुनिस्पैलत्टी कर दिया गया !नए पटना  के निर्माण के लिए पि द्ब्ल्यु ड़ी बाकिपुर को दो भागो विभक्त किया गया ! नये आधुनिक पटना के निर्माण की करवाई शुरू हुए !
आर्किटेक्ट थे  मिस्टर आई एफ मुर्निग्स और लुटियंस जिन्होंने  पुराना सचिवालय , राजभवन,हाईकोर्ट,का निर्वान किया !यह नया क्षेत्र न्यू कैपिटल एरिया कहलाया !

Bihar's Growth Brought down Migration of Labourers.

The migration of labourers from Bihar to other developed states like Punjab and Maharashtra has significantly come down,reglecting the state's growth story .
"Big farmer and entrepreneurs in Punjab are complaining labour short-age because of decrease in arrival of labourers from Bihar who are getting employment in their native places itself."
The migration of labourers from Bihar to other states has come down almost 26 % because of development work and MNREGA.
The state is writing a new growth story,as a result of which migration of labourers to punjab, Maharashtra and Gujarat has come down now.

बिहार की कथा से गाथा  तक का सफ़र !
आज (२२ मार्च 2012) बिहार स्थापना दिवस मना रहा है, नील गगन निचे रौशनी से  नहा रहा है पूरा बिहार, विहार से बिहार बना ......
दरअसल इस भगौलिक सीमा में असंख बौध विहार थे,! यह विहार ही बिहार उच्चारित होने  लगा ,और नाम हो गया :"बिहार"....
बिहार से  जुडी अनगिनत कथाये है,! मगध के राजा अजाद्शत्रु ,बिम्सार की कथाये है  , तो चाणक्य  और  चन्द्र गुप्ता,की भी ! अशोक के ९९ भएयों के मारे  जाने की कथा भी चर्चित है ! शेरशाह सूरी से हूमाओं के पराजित होने का इतिहास ........! १८५७ में कूवर  सिंह के विद्रोह का बिगुल बज उठा और जवाहिर रजवार के उफनते खून की कथाएं .....! समय चक्र के घूमते पहियों से निकली वेसुमार कथाये के बिच आधुनिक बिहार बनाने की यात्रा है !और अब बिहार के बदलने की "कथा यात्रा "है !
वस्तुतः  बिहार  की लडाई बिहारिओ  की पहचान और अस्मिता के साथ शुरू हुई थी!बिहार अलग प्रान्त बने, इसकी वकालत सबसे पहले उर्दू पेपर मूर्ध-इ-सुलेमान  ने १८७६ में की थी !पेपर कसीद ने बिहार को बंगाल से अलग करने की वकालत की ! बिहार को बंगाल से अलग करने की लडाई की एक कथा है ! १८९३ में डा. सच्चितानंद सिन्हा जब इंग्लैंड से लौट रहे थे, तो एक सज्जन ने उनके प्रान्त का नाम पूछा और जब उन्होंने बिहार बताया तो उस सज्जन ने कहा की बिहार का नाम तो उन्होंने नहीं सुना है !श्री सिन्हा दुखी हुए, की उनके प्रान्त का नाम देश के नक्से में नहीं है !बिहार तब बंगाल प्रय्सेड़ेंसी  का हिस्सा हुआ करता था ! 
डा. सच्चितानंदन सिन्हा, महेस नारायण,नंदकिशोरलाल,अली ईमाम ,मौलाना सरफुदीन,दीपनारायण सिंह, परमेश्वर लाल मेहता ,और क्रष्णा सहाय,जैसे लोगो ने इक जुट होकर अलग बिहार प्रान्त के लिए आन्दोलन शुरू किया! बिहार टाईम्स और बिहार अखबार निकले और बिहारी आन्दोलन  हुए !तब जाकर १२ दिसम्बर,१९११ को दिल्ली दरबार में "किंग ईम्म्पेरार " ने बिहार को बंगाल से अलग करने की घोसना की !२२ मार्च १९१२ को अलग; बिहार और उड़ीसा प्रदेश की घोसना की गयी !१३ अप्रैल १९१२ को चालर्स स्टुअर्ट बेली ने लेफ्टिनेंट-गवर्नर का कार्य भार संभाला !
                              उड़ीसा -१ अप्रैल १९३६, और 
                              झारखण्ड- १५ नवम्बर २०००. को बिहार से अलग हुए ! 
सौ साल पहले बिहार की आबादी (उड़ीसा और छोटानागपुर को छोरकर }सिर्फ १.१५ करोड़ थी ! आज सिर्फ बिहार की आबादी १० करोड़ से अधिक हो गई है !जब अलग प्रान्त  बना ,तब ९६ % लोग ग्रामीण इलाकों में रहते थे और ८५ % खेती पर निर्वर थे ! इन  सौ सालो में बिहार की आबादी पाँच गुना बढ़ गयी !राज्य की ८५ % से अधिक आबादी अब भी ग्रामीण इलाकों में रहती है !
बिहार की स्थापना  के पाँच साल बाद निलहों के अत्याचार से त्रस्त लोगो नेकी गुहार पर महात्मा गाँधी चंपारण गए !तब जाकर चंपारण के लोगो को अत्याचार से मुक्ति मिली ! महात्मा गाँधी ने 1947 में पटना में कहा था :-"सच कहू -तो बिहार के माध्यएम से ही मै प्रसिद्ध हुआ ! इसके पहले बीस बरस तक अफ्रीका में रहा ,परन्तु जब से मैंने चंपारण में आया ,तब से सारा हिंदुस्तान जग उठा ! महात्मा गाँधी ने १९३३-34 में बिहार का सघन दौरा किया ,उनपर लाठिया भी चली ,उन्हें दान में धन भी मिला ! गाँधी के बिहार दौरे पर अमृत बाज़ार पत्रिका ने ४ मार्च १९३४ को लिखा - "ए सक्सेसफुल बेगर " !सहजानंद ने किसनो  को संगठित किया और आन्दोलन चलाया !
नए प्रान्त के बनाने से लेकर १९२० के असहयोग  आन्दोलन की लडाई में बिहार आगे रहा ! डा. राजेंद्र प्रसाद,श्री कृष्ण सिंह ,अनुग्रह नारायण सिंह,मजरुल हक़ सहित हजारो हजार लोग जेल गए ! १९४२ का आन्दोलन आते-आते कुल २३८६१ लोग जेल गए !आन्दोलन कैसा था ,यह इसी से पता चलता है की बिहार के ३९५ थानों में कुल २१९ थानों पर हमले हुए ,और ८० थानों पर जनता ने कब्ब्जा कर लिया!आन्दोलन के दौरान कुल ६५९ लोगो ने मौत को गले लगाया ! और ९४४ लोग शहीद हुए !
बिहार आजादी के पहले और आजादी के बाद हमेसा से जागृत प्रदेश रहा है ! बिहार के बारे में अनेक लोग अब भी कहते है की यह रास्ता दिखने बाली भूमि रही है ! बिहार को बदलने की लडाई में राम मनोहर लोहिया के सामाजिक आन्दोलन का नारा "पिछरा पावे सौ में साठ" (100 में सिर्फ़ ६० % ),जेपी के नेतृत्त्व में बिहार दूसरी आजादी की लडाई का हिर्दयस्थाली बना ! अस्सी के दसक में मुंगेरी लाल आयोग की रिपोर्ट को कर्पूरी ठाकुर ने  लागु किया ~१९९० में आरक्छन और "मंडल" पर लालू प्रसाद उभरे, तो २००५ में सता में आने  के बाद नितीश कुमार ने पंचायतो में आरक्छन लागु किया !पंचायतो में अतिपिछड़ो को २० % और महिलायों को ५० % आरक्छन  मिला ! बदलाव के बिज बोये गए !आज बिहार एक नए मुकाम पर खड़ा है ! नया वातावरण बना है! बिहार विकास की राह पर है ! मुख्मंत्री नितीश कुमार का कहना है :- " हमारे विकास का असली मकसद अंतिम आदमी का विकास है"!

धर्म भूमि है, कर्मभूमि है यह आपना बिहार !जनक -जानकी,महाबीर, चाणक्य, चन्द्र को जाया, शेरशाह सूरी,अशोक -सम जिसने बेटा पाया ,!!
गौतम,मगध ,भोज जय जनपथ अंग,बजिज सुखदाता,जय बिहार,जय-जय, जय जन मन,जन त्राता!!

बिहार १०० के आगे ! संक्ल्प का दिन :-

बिहार के सौवे स्थापना दिवस पर संकल्प लेने का दिन है,एक  ऐसा संकल्प जो एस परदेस को
आधुनिक बिहार बनाने में  चुनौतिया है , वे हमारी प्रगति को रोक रही है, लेकिन बदलाब के जज्बे से बिहारी अस्मिता के परचम लहराने लगे है \,हलाकि यह तो सुरुआत है !
.मंजिल तो काफी दूर है !बिहार के १०० साल पर यही संकल्प लेने का वक्त है की एक -एक बिहारी आपने परदेस को चमकता बिहार बनाने में क़ोए कसर नहीं छोरेगा !
