Dear Bangalorean,

As you are aware Elections are about the performance of a government and should also be about a competion of ideas for India between different Political parties.

As most of us know and experience everyday, India's infrastructure gaps are affecting our quality of living and crippling our competitiveness as an economy and this lack of infrastructure represents one of the biggest challenges for India.

The India Infrastructure vision launched yesterday by the BJP and Shri LK Advani is clearly one such exciting idea, that deserves our attention. I read this yesterday and was excited by what it promises and I think it deserves to be brought to your attention and for your consideration and hence my email to you.

It is the most far reaching infrastructure buildout plan for the country post independence! It is a very well put together plan. This plan is comprehensive and covers Rail, Road, Interlinking of Rivers, Urban Infrastructure, Power including Renewable and Green Energy , Social infrastructure and Technology infrastructure! Look up the plan yourself at www.lkadvani.in/eng/images/infra_doc.pdf

Such a bold set of ideas on infrastructure is what we need to transform India in as short a time as possible! All we need is the political vision and determination ! The last five years have been dismal vis-a-vis public infrastructure growth.

UPA Government poor governance badly hurt Infrastructure

We can't afford another five years like this and I surely hope our vote makes sure that the next five years see serious infrastructure growth!

Make this one of the real reasons to cast your vote!

Yours Sincerely

Rajeev Chandrasekhar

Member of Parliament
Immediate Past President FICCI
Convenor - Abide Task force for a Better Bengaluru

Gullible Pranab Mukharjee's so called 26/11 diplomatic victory:: What a ridiculous claim by UPA ? Think twice before voting UPA

BlogPosted By: hindtodaynews on:4/19/2009 12:12:25 AM

Indian External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukharjee claimed  "Diplomacy, not bullet power, worked". Apparently, he is satisfied with Pakistan (Elephant)'s showing teeth, even after bitten severely several times  by the hidden and exposed hostile venom teeth, since 1947

Both Indian and Pakistan kicked off their democratic journey 61+ years back , after their independence. Now, Pakistani President  Zardari is touring the world with a begging bowl  and seeking funds for his 'Marshall Plan' . Pakistan says - "Pakistan alone cannot bear the huge social and economic burden of terror war, clearly we need massive assistance". Taliban is just 50Kms from Islamabad and all they could is to flip-flop between democracy and shariah or democracy and dictatorship.

Pakistan is threatening the world powers   -" we are nuclear power and if we fail, you also will fail; terrorists will acquire nuclear weapon, they will screw you, unless you spend billions on us now". A different kind of blackmail, which is understood even without saying it loudly. Pakistan lacks its will to fight terror,  even if a Talibanised state SWAT is created with in a state (Pakistan), while it was very eager and ready  to fight a war with India after 26/11 Mumbai terror attack. Can a beggar capable of fighting a million dollar conventional war ? The next day they would go for nuclear weapon, which they can't use against their own civilians, in FATA. How unfortunate the good citizens of Pakistan, whose leaders have shown them such a day, where their army has failed to fight war on terror by their own money and in turn surrendered to USA for few billion dollars. According to a report, of the $12.3 billion in assistance to Pakistan since 9/11, 70.4 percent ($8.7 billion) has been in the form of Coalition Support Fund reimbursements for military activity; 26.7 percent ($3.3 billion) has been in the form of development and economic support; 2.6 percent ($318 million) has been in the form of law enforcement; and 0.3 percent ($39.5 million) has been in the form of diplomacy.

Then President Musharraf, after receiving the $12.3 billion in assistance, was engaged in a  WWF kind of mock fight with Islamic extremists and Taliban thereby  fooling then Bush Administration; finally the impatient Bush invaded the sovereignty of Pakistan and authorized usage of  CIA drones to hit high value terror targets based on US intelligence. Pakistan started crying foul , even though it itself has been incapable to eliminate those targets and lacked to fight the war on terror. Even, it has given some mock training to its army - "How to shoot down US drones ?"; how ridiculous this training was, which would eventually have led to a war with US ?  Now,it is urging USA to transfer the 'drone' technology for free so that it can build such drones to fight terror. US would be foolish to transfer such technology to such failed and hostile ally of its war-on-terror. They will smuggle this technology to other rouge islamic neighboring states to get some additional billion dollars.

Now,  Pakistan has got 5 billion USD pledge this year and 6 more billion USD from USA in next 4 years; this comes with stringent conditions.

Of late, Pakistan realized that , it can no more indulged in mock fight , like WWF with terrorists. Every day there are 5 terror attacks in Pakistan, in an average. It has to act against them or appease some terrorist leaders by signing a peace deal, while keep supporting the pro-India terrorist organizations. Pakistan is trying to say to USA that -" we are ready to fight war against terror excluding those of Anti-India". Bush probably gave in to those demands but Obama administration, which is serious to uproot terror, may not given in to this demand.

But, these terrorists, who have been causing 5 terror incidents/day,  are created for India and Afghanistan by ISI. So how can the  creator Pakistan be destroyer itself ? ; so appeasement is also considered for exchange of peace, after 700+ Pakistani Army personnel have been killed by Talibani Militants in SWAT and FATA region, since the war on terror began.

While our secular and gullible  Pranab Mukharjee claims diplomatic victory over Pakistan, Zee News had shown the video footage of  that Pakistan has constructed thousands of permanent concrete bunkers, with in few hundred meters of Indian boarder.  Mr. Pranab Mukharjee is satisfied with his own diplomatic victory, even though none of the 26/11 accused is yet punished by Pakistan. The NRI Indian lobby in USA, have been working over time to introduce  a stringent condition to the $7.5 billion US aid. In a bill moved in the US House of Representatives on April 2, seeking to provide $1.5 billion of annual assistance to Pakistan for a period of five years, a stringent condition is introduced - "only if Pakistan agrees to give an  undertaking, not to support any person or group involved in activities meant to hurt India and to allow US investigators access to individuals suspected of engaging in nuclear proliferation if it wants to qualify for a threefold increase in US economic assistance."

Clause (J) of the bill, called the Pakistan Enduring Assistance and Cooperation Enhancement or the PEACE Act of 2009, requires Pakistan 'not to support any person or group that conducts violence, sabotage, or other activities meant to instill fear or terror in India.'

This means that Pakistan will have to ban all Kashmir groups involved in armed struggle in the valley against India.

Clause (K) of the bill binds Pakistan to ensure access of US investigators to 'individuals suspected of engaging in worldwide proliferation of nuclear materials, and restrict such individuals from travel or any other activity that could result in further proliferation.'

Pakistani PM's reaction to Clause - J has been furious and he apprised his resentment to Sen. John Kerry, the chairman of Senate Foreign relation committee. Which means, whatever Pakistan has been saying  it publicly to cooperate in 26/11 terror attack and abandoning the terror camps in PoK , are blunt lies, which our gullible Mr. Pranab Mukharjee is buying and trying to sell to Indian Voters. A notion is being created that dog's tail has been straightened after 61 years and Pakistan has become a friend of India.

Whatever, Mr. Mukharjee achieved with US pressure , during BJP's regime, the response of operation Parakram threatened Pakistan without involving any 3rd country. After such pressure , few mock arrests were made by President Musharraf  and after few months they were released.

Although the operation Parakram was not considered as a successful operation, it did the job without involving USA. Now Pakisan is claiming that India couldn't dare to attack because of nuclear fear. Then, during BJPs regime, Pakistan believed that , BJP could dare to retaliate with nuclear weapon, if RSS insists and hence forced to make some mock arrests. BJP never begged USA to help India.

In 2004 General Padmanabhan, admitted in an Exclusive interview with the Hindu -"Problems with India's military doctrine, and a lack of clarity within the Union Cabinet and on its war objectives may have undermined Operation Parakram at the very outset."

How reliable are Islamic neighbors ? Let's learn from Israel.

After years of conflict with its neighbours, Israel has been trying to buy peace with its neighbors. In , December 2003, then Prime Minister Ariel Sharon , while announcing a disengagement plan said, the withdrawal was to increase security of residents of Israel, relieve pressure on the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and reduce friction between Israelis and Palestinians. As per this plan a  Palestinian National Authority (PNA) would administer Gaza while Israel will continue to control its borders, coastline and airspace.

In 2005, Israel officially withdrew from the Gaza Strip. But the withdrawal did not end Israel's effective control of the Palestinian territory in all vital regards; the whole Muslim world is in favour of a sovereign state of Palestine , like Pakistan to make it another safe heaven of Islamic extremists HAMAs, Hezbollah and Taliban.

Can you visualize and realize why Israel is superior than India ? They think and do - what is right for them and our secular leaders think what is secular and will please international community. President Barack Obama is for a sovereign Palestinian state and yesterday Israeli PM told to his administration that - "Not possible to give total control to Palestinians",  as in past such gestures (quitting Gaza for peace )didn't work. Hamas rockets from Gaza are still hurting Israel and  Israel can't risk terror camps in Palestine by giving up border control to Hamas; India is suffering since 1947 with a hostile Islamic neighbor and Palestinian Muslims will be no different than their  Pakistani brothers. They will also have support of the jealous Muslim world, including Indian Muslims. So Israel is going to resist such pain in the ass idea from President Obama. Let president Obama reach the Muslim world and keep appeasing them by showing generous gestures - but Israel will never follow suit to please him and become vulnerable.

During the operation Parakram, while Indian NDA law makers were planning for 'limited air strikes on terror camps', General Padmanavam believed that -  "the kinds of limited strikes some were pushing for would have been "totally futile.".

He said :

"If you really want to punish someone for something very terrible he has done,"  "you smash him. You destroy his weapons and capture his territory." "War is a serious business and you don't go just like that. When December 13 happened, my strike formations were at peace locations. At that point, I did not have the capability to mobilise large forces to go across."

Israel is a clear example, who has been following the above approach  to crush its hostile neighbors. In 1967 war, it destroyed the capability of its neighbours and captured the territory.Unlike India, its response was very fast and its air power damaged the attacking capabilities of  3 enemies Egypt, Syria and Jordan. It hit them so hard in the famous Six Day War  that,  there after they didn't dare to attack Israel again and gone in proxy war (terror tactics ) mode.

In Odia, there is a popular proverb - "Ghusuri Prakruti Male Tute" - Pig can't quit eating human waste until its death;such are these hostile Islamic jealous neighbours of India and Israel. However goodwill gesture is demonstrated to these countries, they will continue to pose a threat to India and Israel, as long as they exist; the habitual invaders don't believe in co-existing and don't wish to do scientific research and earn economic prosperity. They wish to establish Shariah law and indulge in  illicit drug trade by cultivating opium and manage their finances. Threaten the USA, West , India and Israel .

No one else foresee the dangers from the Islamic neighbours but the Israelis and nationalist Indians. The so called secular Indians , who believes in talking and maintaining good relations with such hostile neighbours are threat to India's national Security. We don't need global praise ; what we need is live, let live and those who conspire to hurt us, hit them hard. Don't look at USA everytime you ar ehit by your neighbor. USA law makers are capable of impeaching their President, if he goes too far to appease the Muslim world; our
secular law makers can sell India for vote, as they did it in Afzal Guru case.

Quoting Abraham Lincoln – "Any nation that does not honor its heroes will not long endure"  and do you know that the family members of the slain heros of Dec 13, 2001 Parliament attack had returned the president medals because the convict Afzal Guru's hanging is deferred by UPA government ? UPA is considering to pardon him. What a disgrace ?

Such are our secular law makers, who dishonor our heroes for few minority votes and claims diplomatic victory over Pakistan, when there is no such victory.

If you are a nationalist Indian, it is time to snub such gullible idiots and mark them as anti-nationals or traitors. We shouldn't look at USA whenever there is a terror attack from our neighbours. We should act like Israel and inflict maximum damage and force them to abandon their hostile evil designs.

Jai Hind - hail India.

An Appeal on the eve of Forthcoming Elections

In recent months and years, we have seen the true face of the BJP and Shiv Sena. First, the nation was shocked to discover that a whole string of terrorist attacks, some of which had previously been attributed to jihadi groups, had been committed by Hindutva terrorists. This came to light during investigations into the Malegaon blast of September 2008 led by ATS Chief Hemant Karkare. The perpetrators included Hindu religious figures like Sadhvi Pragyasingh Thakur and Dayanand Pandey, retired military officers, and serving military officer Lt.Col. Srikant Purohit. Instead of denouncing the culprits and demanding that they should be punished, BJP and Shiv Sena leaders launched a hate campaign against the brave and honest police officer who was carrying out the investigations, Hemant Karkare!

Then there were the attacks on Christians in Kandhamal and Karnataka. The attacks in Kandhamal in particular went on for months, and even today the communities who have been ethnically cleansed have not been able to go back. This would not have been possible without collusion from the state governments: a BJP ally in one case, the BJP itself in the other. In Karnataka, this was followed by brutal attacks on young women which shocked the nation when they were caught on camera. They were carried out by the same Sri Ram Sene which had attacked churches and Christians, and in one case resulted in the suicide of a young girl. These people have correctly been described as 'the Taliban of India,' due to their violent efforts to enforce their intolerant and narrow-minded version of a religion and culture. As usual, the BJP spoke in two tongues about these attacks. But actions speak louder than words. The fact that such attacks could take place in a BJP-ruled state without any action being taken against the criminals showed that the party was hand-in-glove with them.

The latest scandal is the hate speech of Varun Gandhi. It is clear for anyone who has brains that he actually spoke the words on the tape, and is only claiming that they were doctored so that he can get away with his criminal words, knowing that legal action against him cannot be completed before the elections. Maneka Gandhi made a shameless attempt to start a communal riot by alleging that a Muslim police officer was responsible for the firing when he was not even present, and alleged 'genocide' when not a single person was killed! It just shows that Varun learned his communalism as well as his habit of lying from his mother. Again, the BJP has supported him. Why should we be surprised? Their Prime Ministerial candidate, L.K.Advani, used the same kind of language in the build-up to the demolition of the Babri Masjid in 1992 and the horrific anti-Muslim massacres which followed. Narendra Modi, who is widely seen as the BJP's future Prime Ministerial candidate, used the same language to whip up hatred against Muslims after the Godhra tragedy in 2002, resulting in the shameful mass rapes and murders that followed in Gujarat.

The BJP's method of 'fighting terrorism' is well illustrated in Chhattisgarh. In the name of fighting Maoist terrorists, the BJP state government there has set up an illegal paramilitary organisation, Salwa Judum, which is engaged in raping and killing innocent women, men and children, burning their houses, evicting them from their villages, and putting them into prison camps where they are deprived of their freedom. The state government has put Binayak Sen, a doctor who has dedicated his life to providing health care to poor people, in jail for almost two years, simply because he protested against this brutal treatment of the villagers. In the name of fighting terrorism, the state itself is engaged in terrorism!

The BJP aims to divide the country, and thus to destroy it. They have no positive programme to offer: only hatred and violence.

We are very lucky they were not in power when the terrorist attacks on Mumbai took place on 26 November last year. What would their reponse have been? In the name of being 'tough on terror,' they would have bombed Pakistan. By now we would have been in the middle of a war. The economy would have collapsed, and security would have fallen drastically, as Pakistani terrorist groups targeted India even more. In India, money for employment programmes, infrastructure, health care, education and welfare, which ought to be increased, would have fallen still further as more funds were put into the military effort. Worst of all, the civilian government in Pakistan might have fallen, giving way to extremist groups, and a nuclear exchange between India and Pakistan would be on the cards, destroying millions of lives of both sides of the border.

We simply cannot afford to have such a party in power in our country: one which stands for Talibanisation, intolerance, divisiveness, militarism and war. Therefore we must make sure they do not come to power in the up-coming elections.

We appeal to all the citizens that we must defeat the communal forces, BJP and it allies.

Were a MLA/MP hopeful but lost party nomination ? :: The Secret Winning Formula to become MLA/MPs

BlogPosted By: hindtodaynews on:4/5/2009 11:37:23 PM

Dear MLA and MP hopefuls:

In one of the blogs, one blogger asked : Is India on the way to Super Power ?

I think, you people are the best person to answer, as you know whether there is really any political will among the modern day politicians (your party bosses) to achieve the "Super Power" status ?

Well, that should be your goal and you can't achieve that unless you stop failing to get even a MLA/MP nomination from your party. Hence this article.

If you didn't get a MLA/MP ticket from a major political party  this time and terribly upset , still your party bosses will expect you to show your loyalty for another 5 years ;might promise you to appoint as a  chairman of some co-operative bank or state owned PSUs. Here is a piece of crystal clear free advice for you : "Don't fall into their traps".

Don't be loyal, when they did injustice with you by giving the official party ticket to an inferior candidate.

In both scenarios (loyal party worker and chairman of a co-operative bank/PSU) , you can't really do any social service for which you have joined politics. You will be forced to sanction some loans to your political masters and eventually be blamed for shutting down of that bank. Know more about the sitting President of India, how she created such a bank and dumped the same bank.

Sending your supporters to protest at party headquarters (as shown above) , while being loyal to party and waiting for another chance will not serve any purpose; there is no guarantee that you will get ticket next time, even if the people of your area prefer you as your leader.

Joining a weaker party with less grass root workers or contesting as an independent is no solution either.

You must be wondering - "How to get a major party ticket and contest and win election ?". If you are not an ex-MLA or ex-MP or  leader with support base , no political party will embrace you to give a MLA/MP ticket.;mark my word and look at the following picture. Mr Pujari made a good career move after frustrating with the selection procedure of Congress. He joined BJD and got nomination from Sambalpur. But, you may not be holding an official position with in your party and may not get the similar welcome by a rival party. So please read on..

Orissa Youth Congress President Er Rohit Pujari Joining in BJD

Prev

Next

Know your strength and weaknesses.

What you have ?
  • People of your constituency like you and ready to accept you as a MLA or MP.
  • You may have 100 or more loyal supporters
  • May be 1 Lakh cash to spend and may be able to borrow another 1 lakh
  • You know the real performance of your MLA/MPs - what they did and what else they could have done, which they didn't do.  i.e. where they failed ?
  • Pictures and Videos of all poor community and their way of living. Their opinion about the current MLA and MP.
What you don't have ?
  • No blessing of local MLA/MP (if ruling party) or the MLA/MP hopeful, who  lost the election.
  • No mainstream media coverage of your good work.
  • Money and Muscle power
How the party ticket is awarded in "true" democracy like USA ?

  • In USA there are two major political parties. One is Democratic Party (Liberals like our Congress party) and another is called Republican Party  aka  GOP (Grand Old Party), equivalent to BJP.
  • As an example, let us say some one  like Dr. A.D. Amar, professor of management at Seton Hall University's Stillman School of Business, is seeking Republican nomination for the U.S. Congress in New Jersey's District 7 (a constituency name). All he needs to be a registered Republican. He should be aware of the issues and challenges of his district and  should be able to live debate with other hopefuls of the same ticket.
  •  Last election, Prof. Amar had six opponents ; State Senator Leonard Lance, Councilwoman Kelly Hatfield of Summit, Scotch Plains Mayor Martin Marks, Kate Whitman (daughter of former Governor Christine Whitman) and two other GOP candidates.
  •  American public will watch the televised debate of all the 6 and vote their favorite candidate and the candidate, who gets highest number of votes  is awarded the party ticket. This process is called primary (if voted by both Party workers and people) and caucuses (if voted by only party workers only)
  • If some one is Governor's daughter but didn't do well in debate will not be preferred by public.
  • The supporters of the candidates will keep a fund raiser of their candidate to meet his election campaign expenses. This includes inviting a celebrity and high profile person and have lunch and dinner with them. Each dinner table seat costs $100. People love to be photographed with high profile leaders or celebrities and don't mind to spend $100 to support their candidates.
  •  Fairness is always maintained throughout the process.
  •  During 2008  presidential election, a former first lady Sen. Hillary Clinton lost nomination to a 1st time Senator , virtually unknown Barack Obama. All Sen. Obama did is sufficient ground work in each state before the primary.

Is India a  "true" democracy  ?

  • No
  • India has got abundance of selfish politicians , who lead with sycophants.
  • The party president and election committee select candidates based on past profile, perception , local non-scientific highlevel perception or  hearsay, favoritism or relatives of some MLA/MP.
  • There is no real debate arranged among candidates during the nomination process; so people were not really given a chance to evaluate and endorse the candidates, which hopeful has got better talent to serve them.
  • Like election of our Rajya Sabha MPs, US also used to have indirect election to their "Senate". But, they improved the process by direct elections to Senate; In India, no one is interested to do so. Non-residents like Manmohan Singh can get elected from Assam and Balbir Punj from Orissa against the will of the people; i.e. wish of the parties supersedes wish of the people. This is such a serious matter, the mainstream media never even discusses it.
Why Indian educated class is avoiding to join politics ?
  • MLA/MP Tickets are awarded by the wishes of the party President. Educated class don't wish to end up their life as a salary less party worker and
Is Loyalty important to become a MLA/MP ?

  • No
  • Note that, your core objective of joining a political party is "to serve people", not to strengthen party organization. Except BJP (Nationalism, Pro-Hindu) and Communists (economy - Anti-US), non of the other parties have any other core ideology. The secularism, they say practice is nothing but Vote bank politics. Succumbing to pressure of Muslims and forcing Taslima out of country , deferring hanging of Afzal Guru are not secularism. You must have seen Communists can support Congress and go to any extent to defeat them. Communists can beat up poor peasants in Nandigram and Singur and forcefully evict people from their tiny patches of land. The 3rd front  is nothing but a loosely floating opportunistic union, who wish to join the "Winner" of the election to become minister. Joining hands before the election with one is risky because if the party loses, they can't become minister for 5 more years. Today , even Nitish Kumar said, he may quit NDA , if NDA doesn't get majority. SInce Lalu is out of UPA, he is keeping his option of "Railway Minister" open. Congress may ditch Lalu and embrace Nitish and offer him the Railway Ministry, if UPA > NDA.
  • So there is only one principle left in today's politics. i.e. power. Don't be surprised, if keeping the 3rd front out, BJP and Congress may join hands and rotate the Prime Minister post, just like CMs are being rotated.
  • No political activist can defend the decisions of their party. We asked 20 questions to one BJD leader in Orissa, he never got back because he just can't answer.
  • All they can do is prepare a stump speech and deliver those bunch of lies adding some colors. Many of the gullible people, which were brought in trucks to the meeting place by promising them a piece of  meal, are so ill-informed about the sorry state of Governance, they would even buy those lies.
  • 10% good work, 90% bad work is projected as 90% good work and 10% bad work by local media. Ministers and Senior Journalists or News Paper/TV channel  owners are often bottle friends; hence the sorry state of democracy in India.
  • Hungry and needy people (see picture below)  have hardly  any thing to do with communal and secular rhetoric .

These are the people, who are left out of development process, not figured in any manifesto and bears a common tag BPL (Below Poverty Line); they are in desperate need a good shelter, good education for their kids and a job to manage their family. They just expect that, in their lifetime, at least their kids would  get out of the slums and live a dignified  life that of an average citizen with at least  60K p.a. salary; can afford cloths for  their kids. Don't get snubbed at school.
  • If you are at age of 40 and all you have got 30 years more to become a MLA or MP. 6 more chances. So, you just can't  join a non-ideological party  of  Naveen, Lalu, Mulayam, Mayawati or Sonia, prove your loyalty and  wait indefinitely to get the official MLA/MP ticket; Even limited ideological parties like BJP is no different than Congress, while selecting candidates; they thrust a non-local Balbir Punj as Rajya Sabha MP on people of Orissa . Better not to join communists as they are considered outdated ,anti-Industry, pro-China and anti-US.
  • No party  (even BJP, Nitish Kumar's JD-U, Naveen Patnaik's BJD) is honest;Congress, Lalu, Mulayam, Mayawati etc. are known well corrupt; all get funds from Industrialists and extend favors to them by cheating people. They are running away from making  "black money" an election issue, as proposed by Shri Advani because most of them must  have accounts in UBS (Swiss Bank).
  • So if one is snake , other is cobra  - 19-20 difference between them.
  • Some people get upset  when some one changes a party but, can they explain , except secular-communal difference, what is the real policy difference among them with respect to poor. All of them make the same tall promises to break the same later e.g. Congress Rice Rs 3/Kg, BJP Rs 2/- Kg ). So for a person seeking a political career, thinking of sticking to the dynamic power-grabbing ideology of their boss and waiting for a ticket is not an option. He must get a ticket , contest to win an election so that he can serve his community.
  • Even communists in India don't practice communism. A Congress PM says minorities have first claim to resources. A CM emphasizes that, his 206 bones are secular  after honeymooning for 11 years with the so called communal party !
  • So political parties are nothing but a fleet of buses and ticket aspirants should have a backup plan to change the bus, if their current party is not able to accommodate their wishes. But even changing a party doesn't guarantee a ticket. So to win - read the following carefully.
Want to  become a  MLA/MP ? Here is the winning formula because nothing is worse than "doing nothing".

  • First and foremost thing is "Believe in yourself and you are the best candidate for MLA/MP".
  • Think and act like a winner; remember " Winners don't do different things - they do things differently".
  • Be a dedicated social activist and make no secrets of your ambitions to become an  MLA/MP. It is not a sin; be proud of your ambitions. Always express your mind and ignore people who criticize you such as - " Doing social service for becoming a MLA or MP". Why ? Because MLA/MPs have got power to do things in 5 years, what a social activist can do in 100 years. Tell your people -  "Here are my priorities and I am writing to you in a stamped paper". Elect me and see the difference.
  • Organize small community level meetings/ functions to understand the people's issues. Status of education, roads, water, electricity, health care  and sanitation. Parent's opinion about the schools. Talk to your school headmaster and organize parent-teacher meetings. Talk to reputed doctors and organize health care camps, dental camps, eye care camps and blood donation camps.
  • Take lead to start a community news paper. (more details - write to us at hindtoday@gmail.com ). No mainstream journalist, usually reports the deficiency of Government so the end result is  - "a corrupt and inefficient Government is projected as honest and efficient"; a perception is deliberately created using media and subsequenty used in stump speeches . Even the Indian Express editor walks a talk with a CM  and asks him lollipop questions. The local people need to know the facts.  Your critic news paper need to tell people that, whatever they are watching in mainstream media, are bunch of lies. (feel free to write to us at hindtoday@gmail.com  - if you need help to establish a community news paper )
  • Open a small public office in your constituency and tell public to bother you about their issues and concerns. e.g. [ Self fish and Greedy Members. ]. You can deal better  with corrupt Police, Revenue, Sales tax, Excise inspectors ,BDOs, Tahasildars and all the corrupt people. Tell people that any one asks bribe, just inform you. Go there with media and your supporters and  expose the corruption. Use your community print media to reach locally (your constituency) and web media to reach globally.
  • Leave your impression as true friend of  people; you will be automatically invited to social functions like marriages etc. Spread the word that you will be contesting the next election. You will be invited to public functions.
  • Most important, talk to the angry ticket losers/rebel leaders  of other parties in other constituency  to form an alliance (like the 3rd front); take the lead  and form an Alliance. UPA is not a political party and yet it rules. So was NDA.  The only difference is yours is going to be a floating rebel alliance, where you also need a national party brand. There is a great plan for that.  It will be disclosed to MLA/MP hopefuls, when approached  at hindtoday@Gmail.com .
  • Encourage your supporters to participate in sarpanch , zilla parishad and local bodies elections.
  • Explore local bloggers, who can passionately involve in promoting your good work and exposing the current MLA/MPs.
Note that, today in election commission's website, there are about 1000 parties registered. You will not be  like any one of them them because yours will be an alliance of frustrated rebel leaders and their grass root workers united under a banner/political party . e.g. if  ticket losers of 547 constituencies of India are united to form an alliance and a (non-personified) political party is  created as opposed to an alliance (like UPA,NDA) or personified political party like SP,BSP,BJD,JD-U etc. it will be as good as a National Party like Congress and BJP. This party will bring fairness to the nomination process by following the above mentioned primary and caucuses methods , as practiced in USA  and  even if you lose a nomination, you will feel that, you lost to a more deserving candidate. All you need a co-ordination commitee to supervise the nomination process.

To simplify, a Lalu, Mayawati, Mulayam, Paswan started a party and with their divisive caste politics, they became leader. Your immediate goal is to serve the local people by becoming a MLA/MP. Since this is going to be your first MLA/MP job, you will not look beyond your area and hence will not invite any jealousy with in party, may seek mutual cooperation from leaders of other constituencies as  the following picture; opportunistic ? doesn't matter. Even if it is, still it is much lesser opportunistic than the following people.
