I visited highly flood suffered interior areas of Madhepura, Katihar and Purnia districts. In next phase of my visit, I will visit Araria, Supaul and Khagaria districts.

We visited more than 20 Village Councils (about 130 Villages of total population of about 200,000 people) in Madhepura, Katihar and Bhagalpur districts.
Name of Village Councils-
Alamnagar North, Alamnagar South, Ethari, Gangapur, Kunjauri (Bajraha), Bargao, Khaapur, Singhar, Tilakpur, East Fulauth, West Fulauth, Gosaigao, Chirauri, Nathpurrangra, Hariyo, Vijaygao, Athgama, Navada, Kajikuraiya, Kamlakund, Bhavanpura, Kaloochakbispuria, Bahtara and others.
I was very surprised that these are very highly suffered areas by Flood-2008 but majority of these village councils are un-touch by NGOs and Government Administrations.
Many village councils of mentioned village councils are still in high current and are facing damages from flood currents.
Thousands of people did not get primary relief and basic health care in these village councils and their villages.
Generally NGOs and their volunteers are working in outer areas and in places where people went after migration from flood suffered areas.
I do not think that RTI filings are able to put pressures on administrations. It is my personal view after visiting these areas.
Relief and rehabilitation works need more sincerity and commitments than works of paper/ documentation/ reports.
