of that of Havard University, US, and would include internship,
industrial visit and campus placements in banking, insurance, financial services, planning and development sectors etc."
Students who have secured over 50% in Class XII are eligible to take admission in the course. With a total of 40 seats, the course has been designed semesterwise and the fee per semester is Rs 46,500 per semester. The forms are available online at www.bitmesra.ac.in and the last date for submission of forms is June 18.
The course includes the following subjects: Statistics for business, fundamentals of business and accounting, business communications, basic micro economics, marketing management, international trade, applied macro economics, computer fundamentals and industrial economics, among others. Classes would commence from July 15.
NIFT Patna: Aspiring fashion designing students inquired about various courses including the lateral entry admission programme being offered by National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) at an open house discussion held on NIFT Patna campus on Monday.
Students of science background with a diploma/degree in engineering or related fields of fashion technology may apply for admission to third semester of Bachelors of Fashion Technology (Apparel Production) programme as well as Bachelors of Design Programme directly.
The candidates who have acquired diploma/degree would have to take an all-India entrance exam (written test and personal interview) to get lateral admission, which would strictly be on merit.
Aspiring students should have a three-year diploma/degree after Class X or XII in courses related to fashion or fashion technology like Apparels, Textile, Accessories, Apparel Technology, Leather, Home Science, Handloom Technology, Graphic Design etc. from a recognized institution.
