Bihar Students Celebrated Birth Anniversary "Hanry Durant" Founder, Red Cross

 
Students in Patna on Tuesday celebrated the birth anniversary of Henry Durant, the founder of the Red Cross, by forming a human chain near Kargil Chowk.
PATNA : Students in Patna on 8th. May celebrated the birth anniversary of Henry Durant, the founder of the Red Cross, by forming a human chain near Kargil Chowk.
Describing Durant as the biggest humanitarian, the students carrying placards and balloons, appealed to passersby to support Red Cross that does a tremendous job offering relief in war, famine, flood, and other natural disaster zones across the globe.
Young boys and girls of several schools including Bankipore Girls High School, GD Pataliputra High School, BD Public School, International School, Patna Muslim High School, and Yadav High School formed a human chain to display their support and appreciation for the world's most recognizable humanitarian organization.
The event was presided over by chief guest Jivandas Narayan, the Chief Managing Director of the State Bank of India, main branch, Patna.
