In his letter to Mr. Arjun Singh, Mr. Paswan emphasized that such textbooks are included in syllabi of RSS schools which present false data on one hand and create hatred against other religions in the tender minds of children on the other. He disclosed tat even the facts on Mahatama Gandhi have been distorted in these books, stressing that Nazis and fascist powers had used the same tactics to thrust their ideology which the Sangh Parivar is adopting today.
Citing two examples of communal hatred, Mr. Paswan pointed out that such a book claims that the opponents of polytheism go to Ka'bah to visit Shiv Ling (phallus of Shiva). Similarly, another book narrates that Christians are involved in religious conversion through their missionaries besides carrying out other anti-country activities. Mr. Pawan appealed to the union minister to get these books at earliest.
