BTN: Vishwanath Pratap Singh: india's most Selfish Prime minister, who changed India's political equations.

Former PM V.P.Singh's sudden rise and fall in Indian politics & his desperateness to cling to PM's chair  by invoking 'Mandal Commission'  is worth remembering. While Congress is credited with, opening the SC/ST reservation pandora's box, Mr. V.P.Singh  is been credited with screwing the 'Indian merit' by his 27% OBC reservation.

While the Mandal messiah screwed up his political career, he is credited with emerging of more selfish regional leaders like (him) Lalu, Paswan, Mulayam Singh and few other pseudo-secular leaders. Before him, Indira Gandhi's congress was the sole champion of secularism & after fall of VP Singh's Government the opportunistic 'Janata Dal' was disintegrated to BJD (Orissa), RJD(Bihar),JD(s) (Karnataka), LJP(Bihar),Samta Party (BIHAR) etc.

These opportunistic regional outfits, further divided India to grab all Muslim/OBC/Sc/St votes & has been enjoying the good will of Muslims and their reservation beneficiaries; with one agenda - defeat the communal forces. When Sopreme court advised them to remove the 'creamy layer'  (OBC whose income is approximately  > 2 Lakh per annum) from reservations, they simply negated that advise by changing the definition of creamy layer ( OBC > 4 lakhs). Their allegiance of their OBC voters must not shift - what a social justice ?

Some people, who personally  benefited from Reservation, by the reservation shortcuts - shifted their allegiance from Congress to these more selfish parties & congress is screwed up. The Arrogance of Congress party is shattered & reduced to minority.

In the history of  Parliamentary democracy, V.P.Singh had fallen from grace of every one; even god didn't like his selfish social justice. Apparently, the curse of all Mandal-self-immolated youths
turned him to a 'fallen' person suffering from  incurable diseases like Kidney failures/Cancer . No one respected him, while another selfish PM Deva Gowda is still getting some respect because of his base.

Before his demise, which didn't get any electronic media coverage because of Mumbai terrorist seize,  last time he tried to mediate between CPI(M) and Mamta Banarjee in Singur-NANO issue; such unsolicited mediation was not appreciated by any one. That was a flop.

It is interesting though that after his demise, his former friends/disciples, who never cared for him during his lonely days, are coming with some good words; but the lonely and fallen V.P.Singh, must be ashamed by the kind of selfish  leaders he created , for which the country and people are paying heavy prices.

Some may not like the following comment. But, those who are selfish, have to go from this world with absolutely no respect and no good words from any one. Mr. V.P.Singh may be claiming to be the 'Mandal Messihah' publically, but during his lonely 'fallen' days, he must have realized - "What division he had created & what kind of   Frankenstein's (Lalus, Mulayams, Paswans) he has created.

Bofors - the less we talk, that is better. His election promise rhetorics were never materialized.

The only party , which can't forget Mr. V.P.Singh is 'Congress Party' - which has been reduced to a minority since 1989.

As a Prime Minister Mr. Singh was a big flop; but he will be remembered as the greatest political game changer in Indian political history, who left the Indian National Congress at the mercy of  political jokers; created more opportunity for regional political outfits, by his congress-onslaught.

Here is a news.. don't laugh - the leaders who are praising - don't mean it.
