Neetu Chandra, the leading Bollywood actress from Bihar has been inspired by Bihar CM Nitish Kumar’s revolutionary Janta Darbar. She has decided to make a movie on this concept. The movie is likely to be in Hindi and Bhojpuri.
Neetu Chandra was at Janta Darbar today for inviting CM to the premiere of her upcoming Bhojpuri film Deswa.
Deswa portrays the changing times of Bihar. We are aiming at going global with the film”, says Neetu whose brother Nitin Chandra is directing the film, “The film would not just be premiered in Patna, Delhi and Lucknow but also Mauritius. After all there are so many Biharis out there in Mauritius. DESWA would help them make a connect with their own soil all over again. We may even go to other countries for a premier.”
As per Neetu, the film would not just have dialogues in Bhojpuri but also in Hindi, English and – believe it or not – Telugu. Moreover, the film would be dubbed in Tamil, Telugu as well as Marathi so that it reaches out to the farthest corner of the country.
Nitish Kumar seemed to have accepted her proposal and would come to watch the movie premiere. She was in all praise to Nitish. “It’s because of his hard work that the state has achieved success… and families can walk on the streets till late night in Patna now,” she said.
She was more impressed by the fact that Politicians generally do not meet people after becoming CMs but Nitish Kumar holds a durbar till he has heard the last complaint.
