PATNA : Patna Junction is one of the many railway stations in the country that will soon have free Wi-Fi access for all passengers, East Central Railways public relations officer Neeraj Ambastha said on Monday.
People with laptops and smart phones will be able to get a password through an SMS message that would enable them to connect to Internet at no cost to them, Ambastha said.
"This is already being provided at the Bangalore railway station and soon most major stations will be able to enjoy the same facility," he said adding though no specific date for this provision had been fixed it was hoped that most stations under Hajipur zone and Danapur division of the East Central Railways would have free Internet access by the end of October later this year.
